    Dr. Jonathan Davis attended Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He then completed a general cardiology fellowship at the University of California San Diego.

    He joins the faculty as Assistant Professor of Medicine with a broad clinical focus in the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias while currently participating in research in cardiovascular biomarkers for the diagnosis of ischemia.

    Dr. Neal Dixit attended Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. He then completed a general cardiology fellowship at the University of California, Davis, followed by an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology fellowship at the University of California, San Diego.

    He joins the faculty as Assistant Professor with a clinical focus in advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathy, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation. His research interests include clinical trials, technology-enabled care (especially artificial intelligence), and improving the delivery of guideline-directed medical therapy.

    Dr. Breanna Hansen attended the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine and completed her residency at the Cedars Sinai. She then completed a general cardiovascular fellowship with a distinction in cardio-obstetrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

    She joins the faculty as Assistant Professor with a clinical focus in women's cardiovascular disease and cardio-obstetrics advanced cardiomyopathy and transplant and research focus in cardiovascular disease in pregnancy and post-partum.

  • Daniel Kim, MD

    Academic Profile

    Dr.Dan Kim attended Loyola University Chicago School of Medicine where he stayed on to complete both his Internal Medicine residency as well as General Cardiology fellowship. He then completed his combined 2 year Interventional and Structural/Peripheral  fellowship training at UC San Diego where he now joins as faculty.

    His clinical interests are in complex coronary interventions as well structural cardiac interventions.

    Dr. Andrew Lin attended Indiana University School of Medicine before coming to University of California San Diego where he completed residency in internal medicine and fellowships in cardiomyopathy, general cardiology, and cardiac electrophysiology.

    He joins the faculty as an Assistant Professor with a clinical focus in cardiac ablation and device implantation and research focus in arrhythmia management in heart failure patients.
