Cardiometabolic Syndrome

Dr. Pam Taub at the Step CenterCardiometabolic syndrome is a cluster of risk factors that increase the risk of developing cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. These risk factors include abdominal obesity, insulin resistance, high blood pressure, and dyslipidemia. These factors are also associated with inflammation and impaired glucose metabolism.

We conduct extensive research on lifestyle changes such as time restricted eating, exercise and other behavioral interventions. Our approach is to use what works, and in some cases that may include drugs or technological interventions.
