Peripheral Vascular Interventions

femoral angiogram of femoral artery

Peripheral Vascular Interventions (PVI) are a group of minimally invasive catheter based peripheral revascularization procedures that are performed to treat conditions affecting the blood vessels outside the heart and brain, typically the lungs, kidneys, arms and legs.

This includes multiple types of balloon angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy and thrombectomy to treat Peripheral Artery Disease, Carotid Artery Disease, Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension, Pulmonary Embolism, Deep Vein Thrombosis and other conditions.

Our expertise in managing chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) is world class, with a range of treatment options that include pulmonary endarterectomy (PTE) surgery, balloon pulmonary angioplasty (BPA), and medical therapy. We perform the most BPA procedures in the country.
