Ventricular Arrhythmias

Electrophysiology Lab

Ventricular Arrhythmias are abnormal and often dangerous rhythms in the lower chambers of the heart.

These include premature ventricular contractions (PVCs), ventricular tachycardia (VT), and ventricular fibrillation (VF.)

In addition to standard catheter ablation techniques, we conduct research and innovate treatments for ventricular arrhythmias such as:

  • Epicardial Catheter Ablation
  • Targeted Ventricular Fibrillation Ablation
  • Non-invasive Radioablation
  • ICDs
  • Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy

The Ventricular Arrhythmias (VT/VF) and Sudden Cardiac Death Research Group investigates the mechanisms arrhythmia initiation and maintenance, targeted therapies for ventricular arrhythmias, imaging technologies, and ventricular arrhythmia risk prediction.
