Atrial Arrhythmias

Electrophysiology Lab

Atrial arrhythmias are a group of abnormal heart rhythms that originate in the upper chambers of the heart such as atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and atrial or supraventricular tachycardia. Treatment options range from medications and lifestyle modifications to catheter ablation procedures or the use of implanted devices to regulate heart rhythm.

Our cardiac electrophysiologists have performed thousands of ablations and have pioneered the computational analysis and mapping of arrhythmia hotspots (vMap) to improve ablation outcomes.

Our physicians are experts in using minimally invasive surgical techniques and have developed atrial fibrillation and flutter treatments used throughout the world.
