The Heart Failure & Transplant Program at the UCSD Medical Center is a multidisciplinary program dedicated to working with both community and University-based physicians to provide the most beneficial, state-of-the-art and cost-effective medical care for patients with heart failure.
Our affiliations with the UCSD Cardiovascular Center, the Divisions of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Pulmonary Vascular Medicine, the UCSD Center for Transplantation, UCSD Pediatric Cardiology and UCSD Home Health Care expand available treatment options for patients of all ages. These options range from optimal use of conventional medical treatments, complex or investigational medical and surgical procedures to heart or heart-lung transplantation and ventricular assist devices.
